I saw these today at my local Champs and they looked hot at first but when I checked them out up close they had glue spots and dirt on them and the shoe was already creased. They were a small size so I hope the rest look good but I was shocked at the quality.

the mars 4s are straight fiiiire but after all that heat JB is releasing for the remainder of this year following into next year imam have to pass. Couple months ago these were a sure cop, but will all teh quality issues teh military 4s will be the last 4s on my list.

Mr ATL, you speak the truth - only most of these guys never saw the original - maybe only in pictures like that one above,so they don't know what they're missing - they're HYPED by this Jumpman 'Mars Blackmon' version - another gimmick to elude from releasing what should have been.

I too DON'T like the banana shape and that Jumpman logo on the back - can't stand it on the IV's - Nike Air belongs there.

I thought of getting this FireRed variant to change the back to Nike Air later on but it would take a lot to track down an industrial specialist.

As far as the fake FireRed IV goes.. I've seen it in person and the laceclips are too small,the plastic triangle too small,zoom air cushioning is a bit hard and doesn't hug your foot like the original, leather is good - better than these retro+ JB variants - the best thing it has going for itself is the Nike Air plastic backing but that also looks a little off.


As far as the original goes... it was a GREAT shoe - I played ball in it and remember them being so light and defined - that red Nike Air really stood out - I could fly in these shoes - I miss that feeling so much.

I waited so long to see these shoes - FireRed and MilitaryBlue and once again JB disappoints me.Then again,maybe I'm biased as I wore the original but the retro+ remains to be seen.

I will be there on release day,I will inspect thoroughly,and If and only IF I get ONE pair,that jumpman back has to be changed some how back to Nike Air as it should have been.

The biggest question I have for Jordan Brand is not whats gonna release in what color in what year but...

"Why did you stop making quality Jordans?"

It's like they gave us quality and style back in the 90's for a high price. Once they got the name of a big time shoe brand, or should I say givin the name, they started to go cheap. Now they don't need to hit us with quality Jordans anymore, they know people will still buy them.

Depends, I've seen GR Shoes sell as if they were Limited. You shouldn't have to line up unless theres a lot of resellers where you live.
