Official BBQ thread

Exactly right! I’ll be on the pit sometime today, if I don’t lazy out. If I do I’ll cook tomorrow, gonna post pics now that this is back up.

Just fyi....

Smoking 225-275 (slow)

BBQ 300-375 ish (cpl hr cook times)

Grilling 375- 500 (high heat/fast cooks)

I baked some baby rack ribs last time and loved them. Low and slow for a few hours.

Yup depending on how much time I have. I usually do my ribs around 275-300 for 3-4 hours.

Some baby backs I did a few weeks ago.

Just wrapped the ribs for the next two hours on the 3 2 1 cook. Started to rain but hoping the ribs turn out great. Used a combination of Dizzy Pig rubs so hoping for the best.

Can you give us details on your setup? Grill, time, temp, etc

Sure....my temp floated between 400-350 for the initial 45 minute time it was consistent at 400 dropped to when I flipped everything...hit them with some apple cider vinegar and let them cook for about 40 more minutes that’s about it

Those might be some of the best looking User created wings in NT history.

75% of this forum would call those too dark though.

Post in food thread man

@Bad Moon Rison

Here you go again telling people what to do.

Why don't you post your grilling......or should I say your neighbor's grilling that you try to pass off as yours.

Can someone recommend me a good smoker? Don’t need anything huge maybe a couple slabs of ribs max.

Is electric trash?

Not trash at all. Just depends on what taste you are looking for. Maybe you like a charcoal pit. Or even a gas burner. Also pellet. Let me know what your interested in, be more than happy to give some ideas.
