Thats not a defense. Melo should have taken his team to the 2nd 3rd or even the 4th seed to avoid having to play the top teams in the west. The nuggest were number 2 seed that year they played the lakers in the wcf. Thats what where Melo should have been ALL THE TIME.
  

yea Melo suppose to take a team of Birdman, Kenyon Martin and JR smith to WCF every year playing on the West . The West is a lot more competitive than the East for the last 12 years buddy

You guys that ride MELO forget the fact that he doesn't have the same passion and focus as the other stars.  He doesn't play defense at all, and on offense, he racks up stats but does little to impact the game.

MELO is exactly like NOVAK and R.ANDERSON, great stats, but barely a game changer.  DWADE, KOBE and what not, they are game changers on BOTH ENDS.  Denver had a great team when Melo was there, and its no time for excuses already.  Now his transition to the NYKnicks seemed reminiscent to his Denver days.

I don't care who is in the west when you have a player like Melo like you guys praise him to be, there is no reason he should only have 1 time where came out of the first rnd. thats east or west.

Lebron took a worse team to the nba finals then the denver team Melo had, and he played vs the best defense in the NBA in the ECF back in 07.

Are you saying The East in 2007 to 2010 is better than the West from 2007-2010? The year Lebron made the Finals his only tough opponent was the Detroit Piston but even so that team have no superstar. The other teams he beat were garbage. Wizard, New Jersey ? lol crappy teams. Lebron got swept in the Finals by the Spurs that just show you how much better the West was

Melo had to play championship team like the Lakers in 09 when he was in WCF

As far as this year. The Heat is simply the better team.
