This is a decent compromise. (Between the White House and the moderates in the Senate)

They dropped the UI from 400 to 300, and in exchange, they got a longer period for the new UI extension AND a $10,000 tax forgiveness for people that got UI last year.

This is not a ****ty pointless compromise like the checks, it is actually a productive one. A lot of people are gonna get spared a surprise tax bill.
