As good as dude is, I feel like everything sounds the same.  That isn't a bad thing I guess b/c he's dope.  But you could literally play all his albums back to back and never know where one began and the other ended.

Gunsense grew on me .i didn't like the beat whenever I first played it but he ate that ****



Didn't know Knxwledge coulda get funky with a beat like the joint he gave to roc n Knxwledge (knowledge and Knxwledge would dope if they made something )

Knowledge verse coulda been better but it was still dope.



I'm gonna have to check out some arch druids work cuz I nevermind heard their beats tollbooth I heard this album.

There's not a track that really stands out for me . roc lyrically brought it as always but I don't know about this time.

Roc is truly on a level that only so many rappers get to when it comes to his wordplay/concepts.

He's up there with Jay Electronica, Hov, Pusha T, Early Lupe, MF Doom, Andre 3000.

It's like I don't even know how he fathoms some of this **** but then I do.

He's a special artist.


I hear y'all saying all his songs sound the same, I get that but it's on purpose.

He's just going further and further with his style of finding crazy samples and just brutalizing them with visionary bars.

I could listen to him do that forever, I don't care if he doesn't want to switch it up and make songs that are more melodic/mainstream.

There's plenty of guys that give me that, nobody can rap like him.

^Completely agree. Dude's flow is smooth as **** and his ability to paint pictures is incredible. Doesn't have to scream or yell yet his voice is still powerful on tracks.
