I'm just hoping these damn 4th quarters become solid. I swear these cats love drama in the closing minutes/seconds. It's all good though.

As long as Mac and Yao don't have to score 70% of the rockets points (like tonight) by playoffs, expect big things.

the game against bobcats was a sloppy one with turnovers everywhere
just hope the other guys other than yao and t-mac will score more often

Supposedly he's out of shape and is in Adelman's doghouse. He's done.

As far as the Rockets, I feel they're 6-1 is misleading. They could easily be 3-4, they have no power forward help (still), and no point guard (still).

Although, I'm glad Wells is starting to come around.

how bout aaron brooks? i thought he would at least get a little. maybe im just bummed cuz he went to oregon and hes not getting any playing time but he shouldbe able to get some burn tho.

How you figure?

First game against the Lakers was closer than it should have been.
Second game against the Jazz, they won handily. Utah crept back into it in the 4th, but Grady dusted them off with 47.
Third, Portland was handled easily.
Fell apart to Dallas in like the last 3 mins of that game.
They beat the Spurs with surprising ease.
Toyed with Yi and the Bucks.
Played lethargic against the Cats.

From the way I see it, their record is exactly what it is. Maybe, just maybe I'll give you 5-2 (Bobcats). But that's it. No way I see 3-4 from thegames they've played thus far.

after the memphis game on tuesday,

this team is going to face the lakers (they're playing very good and very balanced. if kobe doesn't jack up 30+ shots again, they could have a chance),spurs, dallas, suns (b2b), denver...

if they can do well through this stretch, the best record could be within reach as this month IS their toughest month and they're still learning.

HOUSTON -- Since arriving to training camp, Rockets center Yao Ming has been trying to get comfortable with Rick Adelman's new offense.

On Monday, he received confirmation that he's on his way.

The Rockets center was named the Western Conference's Player of the Week for the sixth time in his career after a putting together a dominating stretch.

Yao guided the Rockets to a 3-1 record over the week, averaging 27.8 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.8 blocks.

The Rockets center had his most productive offensive game of the season Sunday when he scored a season-high 34 points to lead Houston past Charlotte.

"It's a luxury to have a guy 7-foot-6 who knows how to play a little bit," Rockets star Tracy McGrady said earlier this week. "When he is establishing his post presence like that, it's tough to beat us."

Yao became the third straight Rockets player to earn the West's weekly honor dating back to last season. McGrady, who earned the honor last week, was the Western Conference's final winner last season.

i wish adelman would at least rotate in Francis and Mutumbo, its not like james, head, and alston are doing phenomenal...

but we ARE 6-1, so whatever...oh yea, ive gone to 3 games so far, and 2 of those games were in a suite...thought id share.
