Its getting on my nerves how much people use the term "I could care less" the term is "I couldn't care less" because if you could care less about the subject than you can.  This tick anyone else off?

but i use the terms" i really dont give a F___

Don't hear it as much as I used to, but I used to notice it too and get vexed. It's so simple, how could you even mess that up? You're trying to say you don't care, so the amount to which you care is absolutely 0 therefore you could not care less. If you could care less, then you do care. Just switch the verb and think about it if it's still confusing.

I could care less about this thread. And I could care more about you being mad.

Equally, I don't care at all. +1 to my post count and -1 to your significance on NT op.

the correct word is "phrase" not "term." a term refers to one word while a phrase refers to a combination of words.

If we're talking about correct grammar here then....... I think I have you there.

I had the same thought as you OP, but I didn't want to make a post and be the recipient of all of this hate.

I agree OP. Another one that vexes me is "mine as well" instead of "might as well".
Like, seriously? :sick
