^^^Cube (Rap game Kareem) and Wayne slander...:smh:. Calling Future (who’s been in the game for 10 years) and just Broke Some #1 album in a row record an “up and comer” is wild.

We need #2Threads for real. Who are y’all ***** :smh:

Dog you gotta serious reading disability or you LOVE to assume and jump to conclusions.

If you dont know what I'm referencing with Lupe, Cube, and Tribe just say so. Dont be stupid. Who is slandering Ice Cube? You literally making **** up cuz you don't understand.

Future was NOT the only rapper let alone singer mentioned in the tweet. Did you stop reading @ Future and just reply? You can't find a post of mine saying Future is an up and comer. You know why? Cuz Cole mentioned like 5 ppl in that tweet. You slow or something?

C'mon man. Use your common sense and apply up and comer to who it fits. Dont be stupid. This should not be something I have to explain to you. Maybe you right and we need a remedial thread for you

He might be their fav rapper but Cole and especially Kendrick don't make nothing like most of the nonsense Wayne was making. Wayne's real influence is in all these fake rockstar/weirdo/soundcloud/tat's on face _'s.

    Exactly my point.

Most ppl would say Lupe's sound is much closer to Tribe which is why he was chosen to perform one of their songs @ Hip Hop Honors. He messed up and his excuse was he wasn't listening to Tribe in the 90s but Cube

Sorry bruh the music you been making don't really reflect that.

But if that's slander to the slow. Oh well.

I probably been listening to them longer than you mo.

And Wayne was not poppin in 97.

Kendrick's style and substance is nothing like Wayne's. Kendrick also has interviews about being influenced by Kurupt and you can hear that on all his projects. You can pull pieces of different rappers but Kendrick is not a Wayne type of rapper, any era of Wayne.

Not a coincidence that most of Kendrick’s Birdman’s son’s influenced songs are the worst ones

Where is the lie? One song compared to his whole catalog. I'll give you another DNA you can hear Wayne's influence but those 2 records and some remixes don't represent his catalog. Wayne has never made anything like Section 80, Good Kid Mad City or Pimp A Butterfly.

And that’s subjective. But to flat out deny Wayne had an influence on Kendrick...and it’s CLEAR stylistically in some of his music (especially early his foundational work) is work wild and dishonest.

***** literally rapped like THIS and said THIS...and ***** wanna pretend like that ain’t “influence”

“Every time I’m in my city, I be acting like my **** don’t stink
Used to clean my Rolie chain with alcohol in the sink
Riding around with *****s that I grew up with since McNair
Bumping 'Me Against The World,' hello world, Kendrick here
And I’m too much for these *****s, I’m three much for these ****
I’m too much for these *****s, I’m three much for these ****
I’m too much for these *****s, I’m three much for these ****
Wayne told me that and that's just how it goes

That’s not even “good Wayne”...but any ***** would be flat out fronting to deny the influence ad the call too’s. It’s literally, literal .

See now it's just a stupid discussion about how much Wayne influenced Kendrick as if that matters when Kendrick makes better music anyway.

    Garbage convo.

You know those are Cole lyrics though right?

 The start of this was some backhanded apology. Just cuz y'all don't have the same morals and principles as me.

    Then it just got sad.

What's funny is Kendrick actually grew up in a heavy blood area around real bloods and barley claim it while Wayne has been false flagging hard for over a decade.

Yeah. That’s why I said “even Cole.”

He can come up with the bar. Doesn’t make him exempt or from the practice.

You all don’t remember the report that came out a couple years ago about the way Tidal was fudging the numbers on their streams? That’s just one of the platforms; the one in third place at that.

All that numbers stuff is bs in my eyes.

Always been that way though. Word to cats buying multiple cd’s, and using label money to buy out store’s supplies of a given album.

Let me sit you down youngin. There was this guy named 2Pac that had the whole industry copying his voice/attitude/content. There's also this guy named Nas that changed how people rapped.

You know I be forgetting Cole still signed on Roc Nation or w/e.

    I recall that.

Hypocritical in a sense but I doubt Cole is behind his #s being doctored.

Nah. Homie trash as an emcee but I doubt he’s behind the fudging of his numbers.

I just can’t say he’s not benefitting from streaming farms.
