Common practice. Gma used to tape her stories (soap operas for the youngsters) everyday during work hours, and her ex even had some old UNC tarheel basketball games. When she passed, the family was dispersing items among each relative. I went through the VHS collection. Came across all the generic blank BASF 8 hr joints, hit play, watched a few minutes, and kept it moving. This was in a room full of people, mind you. One tape. I hit play... "WOOP!" That half-second lasted at least 10 minutes. I hit stop with the quickness (I was like 17, so HOF badge with the remote). Nobody saw it. Slipped it into the "keep" pile. Turned out to be some prime 80's pr0n. Even had Ron Jeremy in one of the clips.
