Real Deal College Football Discussion... no homers please

There are many kids that do this stuff every year. I don't know why you are getting salty over another guy doing it, who is well worth the hype.

Thats funny coming from you because count less times ihave seen u rip a recruit. If pryor didnt have Michigan on his list you wouldnt give a @*++ about him.

yea pryor OG plan was to announce at the game, now hes waiting til sigining unless he decides to do it on some other day and call it Pryor signing day orsomething....lol.....

After looking at some recruiting websites, I saw that Pryor had DUKE, along with OSU, Michigan, Oregon, and Florida in contention for his services...

Duke?

Please start naming these people. Outside of Matt Patchan, who goes around and talks like he has accomplished something in college football, Ireally do not care what these kids do.

EDIT: BTW, I do not knock PJ, Austin or Claussen either. They are all great players and I do not care if they hype themselves up or make a circus out of theirrecruitment, they are/were all worth it. I do have a problem with guys that decide to call out players or bash other conferences or team when they haven'tdone a damn thing on that level. It was just Miami that Pathcan called out. He called out the Big 10, Big 12 and several other schools by name. The kid thinkshe is great because his dad was something. I think he is a great player and could be a stud but he hasn't done it yet. Pryor, PJ, Marvin and Jimmy all hadrespect for people, this kid obviously does not. That is why I get pissed at him.

Uhhh nice try but no. Its because Pryor is extra close with Coach Cutcliffe. Thats why Tennessee had a legit shot at Pryor. as soon as Cut took theDuke job, he erased the Vols and added Duke

Gunna, what are you hearing about Scot Loeffler coming to the Vols? The majority of Michigan guys feel that he is good to go and be the QB coach there. I thinkTennessee might have a shot at Mallett as well. Just wondering if anything has been said on your end.

He's a good coach and a better person. Dude is young and would do alot of good things. He has head coach written all over him.

Will Muschamp was hired Thursday to be the Longhorns new co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach

bigmike stay comin through here week after week givin me updates on the new hirings... thank you sir for that.

definitely tuning in tomorrow night to the all american game...

BTW, i heard that after the fiesta about 8 players from WV were going to transfer to Michigan. i dunno if that was false or if the win influenced theirdecision that much, but either way nobody went anywhere

Sadly, Michigan will not have enough scholorships open for them to come. I would like to see some of their guys come in who fit the system but we reallyaren't losing many (in numbers) from this class. But you never know.

I was looking around about the Juniors down in San Antonio for the Army All American combine and saw that Teric Jones (5-10 185 ATH from Detroit Cass Tech(Boubacar Cissoko's school)) ran a 4.47 and a 4.37 40. He is the only guy to crack 4.5 so far. Bob L from Scout said he was the fastest kid since he hasseen Percy harvin. Teric also put up 185lbs 20 times. He is the hot name right now. It will be fun to see if he dows good in the drills.

#1 because he's an athlete. He is not the best QB. and not even close to being one of the best QB recruits ever.

Has anybody seen E.J. Manuel play or seen tape of him. I saw on Rivals that he was the #1 rated pro style QB. I thought he was a dual threat QB

I'm looking forward to the Under Armour All-American game. Something like 5 or 6 Clemson commits in that one plus Jamie Harper, kid is a 6' 210 lbmonster with speed.

Texas hired Muschamp? Don't know much about him other than he's been at Auburn and LSU... Good hire for the Horns?

I'm really hoping Jamaal Charles bolting for the pros will push Darrell Scott down to Austin. Like Newbs said, that kid is

. People down here wereready to crucify Mack Brown for letting Jermie Calhoun leave for Oklahoma, but getting Scott would certainly make Calhoun a complete afterthought.

Scott to UT would seem the logical choice...But you throw all logic out the window when it comes to recruting....
