roti is basically flour+ water + some oil rolled out into a flatbread and then put into a pan coated with oil or ghee and it forms a into a thin crust. It's cooked and both sides and clapped (I still have no idea if this really makes a differenceOriginally Posted by DCAllAmerican
Can someone explain to me what this is? Is it a Jamaican dish? Basically like a pita and ingredients?

This dude Double talking about Queens and eating roti that made him tear up yet he probably hasn't had doubles yet. The next time your going to a west-indian place...ask them for doubles...the pic you posted up there looks like dahl-pouri, shrimp and potato curry. Potato curry isn't anything to eff with.Originally Posted by mondaynightraw

Not trolling Brah. I grew up in St. Lucia, I have been eating Roti all my life. The way Jamaicans and Trini people make Roti is different. The Curry filling is never favored right, it's always way greasier and the shell is different(closer to a baritto shell) than Trini RotiOriginally Posted by Antidope

Afghan Roti is the BOMB at family gatherings. You can put any meat in there. I love lamb or chicken, with extra spicy curry in there. Unfortunately, I end up taking burning dumps several days after. Not fun at all.![]()
