I got tired of having a taper or shaving my head so I grew my hair out the last 6 months.  I started combing my hair Mad Men style and sometimes like de Niro had in his mob movies.  I would just get real conservative haircuts at the barbershop.  It's good cause it's different but is annoying to maintain.

I don't understand why some of you go get a haircut every week or sometimes twice a week.  That's such a waste of money.  The most your hair would grow in a week is maybe some stubble.  Is your barber just re-cutting what he cut the week before?

depends on what you want if you want a fade/temp go to the barbershop

If you you want a little longer/styled go to a salon that does both men and women
 
I got one 3 weeks ago, but I usually get a cut every two weeks and a line-up in between. I'm going saturday for sure.
