Between those 2 albums, Jay had a #1 song in the country with Blueprint 3.  For Nas and Life is Good, not so much.   

What does that have to do with the Blueprint being better than Life is Good?

BP3 is basura except for maybe 3-4 songs. 5 being generous.

Just about the same can be said for Life is Good, so what's your point??

No you don't understand because first off champ, I do like Nas.  So based upon your assumption that right there lets me know that the lines of communication between you and I are broken down, which is completely your fault.  That's alright though, I'm not going to hold that against you for now.  Life is good is a good album and a good effort, but let's not make it out to be more than what it is.

This isn't opinion either... the **** is/was/will be a known fact that when this battle occured Nas was crowned the reputable winner bar none by NYC... even **** riding Hot 97 had to admit to it.

As far as the fact opinion BS argument... look at all of the rap battles on youtube with Smack all this other nonsense... you really think Mook, Lux, Serious, Jin etc. really letting the lamma spit, bricks getting flipped, wigs getting split, and all that other s hit... okay then.

As David00 said before it's always these Jay fans that make these threads because it is well known that Nas came out the victor of the battle, but in the end I would rather have Jay's business acumen and Nas's props as a rapper. Mad props to Jay for reaching the level of success that he has and overall that is the best end goal... winning at life, and Jay has done that.

In they end they're both well off (one a lot more than the other) and they're both cool and enjoying life while you dumbasses keep their ***** in your mouth... just let it go already... both Nas and Jay has dones so!

I dont understand what any of this has to do with what I think though. The opinions of others mean nothing to me. Even if Jay really believes that which I highly doubt, it wouldnt mean anything to me either, I think Takeover is better than Ether. It doesnt even have to do with how good Takeover was, its about how bad Ether was. Everytime this thread comes up, I'm speaking about how lackluster Ether was. It wasnt good at all in my opinion.

This phrase is overused man, theres a difference between strongly believing in your opinion and spouting them as fact. I havent forced my opinions on anyone, but with that being said I will back them against anything.

Serius Jones didnt say a thing in that battle, flow was essentially talking and Murda Mook was just better IMO.
