Its been almost 20 years and I have yet to hear a west coast album that is THIS great...
Easily one of the 10 Greatest Hip Hop Albums of all time...
And IMO this is Dr Dre's BEST work overall...
This #%!! is just WAAAAAAAY before its time sonically...
This birthed the Chronic (obviously), but you can hear the difference in Dre's flow after Cube left NWA and DOC was writing the majority of his rhymes... Cube is my man and all but Dre improved as a "rapper" after he left...
"Dayz Of Way Back" is the prelude to The Chronic's "Little Ghetto Boy", and to this day its production is as AMAZING as ANYthing that has been made since then...
NWA was the MOST influential rap group... They changed the face and sound of hip hop FOREVER... You can hear their influence from 2Pac to Notorious BIG from Wu Tang Clan to Mobb Deep...
"Apitite For Destruction" is like the BEST song EVER...
