This has been debated and argued numerous times, all in all many agree that 2001 was the best, but usually it's a personal question. I think that howeverwe all can agree that 1999-2003 was the best span.

If that's true, then why haven't I been able to move my Retro Vs on ebay? lol

The hypebeasts, resellers and fake dealers are putting a hurting on the authentic market.

1999 was the best year. I remember walking into the Nike factory in folsom and seeing almost every color of OG XIV. A few colors of XIII, and a whole flockof other Nikes. To top it off though, most were half price. lol. I copped OG Blk toes, and wht/blk Son of gloves

88? I had the OG 3 and OG 4 as a kid. One shoe doesnt make a great year.

To me the best years of JB were:

1.1999-2002 (Those were the good times. I wish I had started my collection one of those years.)
2.2006 (That was somewhat a crazy year.)
3.It's a tie between 2003 & 2004 (totally underrated)
