Both of these statements are spot on.
Never liked McDermott either. Perhaps that's still salt in the wound from the game where they took out Kendall Marshall. He's always seems like a used car salesman to me though.

Fire a coach that's been to the title game to hire a guy that's never won a tournament game when his son wasn't on the team.
I will be very surprised if creighton doesn't end up hiring a better coach than OSU just did.

I actually think McDermott is a good coach.
Sure they could have had Archie. But for right now, I like it.
I would also call Brad Underwood, who cares he took the Illinois job like two months ago
