Yea those are dope !! Definitely still on my list. For the low of course lol
infrareds still being released every few years?
I have an itch to get a pair again
last time I had them was the release following HOA I believe
when was the last release? anyone know if they're slated for a release in the not too distant future?
last release was 2015
2020 is thirty year anni, so I'd imagine they'll come back.
I'm still waiting for some gat dang laser blues
Just snagged a pair for a little under $200 that I was watching for like 2 months. Wish they’d give those a run sometime soon
I got a pair from the 2010 release for under retail at flight club in 2012. Those were the days.
I think we’ll see the laser blues and even spruce lines along side the 30th anniversary next year or atlease I hope so
Anyone feeling the "Grape" essentials?
They are a certi cop on the low, was a pair of am1 in wmns sizing from late 2018 with similar colours was annoyed i couldn’t get them at the time so these will be a nice space filler
what are considered the golden years and dark ages for AM90 shape?
golden years = 1990
Dark ages = all retros thereafter
its not even the same damned shoe anymore
Shapes always been pretty much the same, since the first retro or two.
which is the problem
So dont buy them.
If the only pair you like was a pair made in 1990, and the hundreds of other colourways theyve released of that shoe over the 29 years since are all junk because their shape is wrong...
Yeah we can leave that golden age talk in the 87 thread. We all know it’s not gonna look the way it did in 1990. It’s Nike at this point.
Bring on the infrared next year in all the special variations.
Latest AM90 pick ups...
I remember seeing the laser blue og's sz12 sitting on clearance racks at a Finish Line in Columbus,OH about 5 years ago. For some reason they run tighter than the OG infrareds. It almost seems like theres more padding in the ankle.
i dont buy them. I would if they returned to looking like an actual running shoe, which is why i spoke on it

The 2015 pair wasn’t that that bad. I still have my pair DS. I’ll break them out this year hopefully they won’t retro any time soon.
golden years was 2001-2005, 2006-2012 was acceptable, 2013-2019 dark ages aka scheming tactics from nike
Scooped some lightly worn 2015s a few weeks ago for about $95 shipped on ebay. Always wanted a pair, only 90s besides bacons that I'd ever care to own (but those are a pipe dream).
