Dave was a real one man, I remember coming up they had a union 180 restock and I ran to dqm and was like bro I get paid tomorrow can you please hold these for me I’m gonna come tomorrow, dude said they right here behind the register I went the next day he wasn’t even there but the shoes was.. man sneakers was just different.

I love the old man style myself (seriously do), but I'm not sure if it's the color/material of the toe box, something seems out of place on the shoe

I’m old myself so it isn’t that (those grey NB’s are pretty dope though).
For starters, the shoestrings are too thick (easy fix). The tongue seems to be a bit short (on my size 11.5 anyway). And I’m just not feeling the “premium” materials on them. If they were standard mesh and leather mudguard they’d be a home run. I’m a sucker for grey too and was totally looking forward to these.
I got them with my bday discount hence the reason I’ll probably just keep them.

I agree with you. I just got them in today and there is very little premium about this shoe. I have the similar cork insole Asia exclusives and it really is night and day in terms of materials. I also sold these to recently which burns even more.

Around the 25th anniversary I think so around 2015. I shouldn't have let them go especially as I got them for a steal.

£60 dead stock it was an amazing deal on ebay. I ended up selling them for £130 which is still a deal. The suede on them was butter similar to the air max 90 new species or lux bright crimson that everyone hated (I liked them though).
