Is the mesh waterproofed too? Never bought a gore tex Nike shoe.

I would assume the entire shoe is waterproof?

It'd be worth the winter wear if they fixed the design flaw by gusseting the tongue. Otherwise, water's gonna make its way through anyway. The pair I had before, it was gusseted only to around the 3rd or 4th eyelet closest to the toebox.

The other things they gotta do are make that toebox roomier toebox and get better grip.
