Don't let the jokes fool you into believing the narrative that Rust is "hated" on here. A lot of us saw have been talking about how he was cheating the game for years but the triple doubles, records, scowls and fake hustle fooled most folks. Everyone sees it now that the LA spotlights are on him so the volume of negative comments are just greater.

But the influx of negative comments aren't hate. They are simply things that people were either oblivious to or blatantly ignored. Most of the basketball world is finally acknowledging in 2022.

Let the President ( MVP ) and Vice President ( akajae ) of the Rust Stan Club tell it though and everyone is "mad" at him because of previous awards or his current affiliation even though nothing has fundamentally changed over the past 4-5 seasons other than his teams
