As a Blazer fan, honestly not super excited to bring on Grant. But we didn’t give up a lot for him. I thought for sure this franchise was going to pull some **** and overpay with the 7th pick for a guy like him. So with that being said, I will call it a win. Doesn’t do much though in making the team into a contender for a playoff spot.

I would trade the 7th for OG or Collins. But at this point if they keep the pick I think the window closes for Dame in Portland, I would go with Sharpe for the potential he presents going forward. Has all star potential and pairing him with Ant as a core moving forward would be something good to build around.

It’s not a terrible move for Portland. OG is about to be 25 and showing signs of REALLY breaking out.

Him and Grant are also basically the exact types of guys they needed on that team for the past however many years.

If Simons is really about to be an impact guy, it’s a tough lineup.
