I hate tripods and i want to know if you managed to get those shots freehand and if so how??
It's possible but I kind of doubt that he was using a tripod. Some of the higher end cameras were designed to have high ISO ranges without much noise. Along with that, Pat has a lot of lenses that have low number apertures (for example: f/1.4, f/2.8, etc.) while shooting at a reasonable shutter speed.

Seeking a huge favor from my Photography Thread NT Brethren. My fiance and I are having our engagement photos done next week and I was wondering if a few of you can chime in on some of your favorite ideas you've seen/shot as far as poses and themes. Pictures would be much appreciated as well, I'd appreciate it immensely!

i have a t2i with a 50mm lens currently that isn't really cutting it up close and far away. i have to shoot a special engagement this month with michael freaking jordan and I've never shot professionally, I am looking at a lens that is somewhat expensive and is multi use. I'm also going to the bahamas this year so i wanted one anyways. i am looking at the 24-70mm f28 and 24-105mm f4. any suggestions? and also, I want a cheap fisheye. price is not an option for the first part, but the cheapest/best bang for my buck fisheye would help. thanks

If you want a cheap fisheye I recommend you get the Rokinon 8mm f/3.5 it's around $200-$300 on Amazon/B&H. It's perfect for the crop frames but it's too much for full frames (sample below).

I don't have enough gear to warrant a bag, but I saw this a while back and found it to be pretty interesting...

I use this bag (not my pic)

Not the biggest bag, But it holds my 5d mkII, 2 lenses and a 580ex II no problem...It also has a compartment for an ipad but I don't own one of those.

Info Here

Also, Cool vid SinnerP... Some serious $$$$ in that bag

Exactly what I was looking for. Versatile enough to be used as a messenger bag, rucksack, or duffle without all the bulk.

How's the comfort? Any gripes? Thanks.

I picked this one up off Amazon for $32.  It worked great for me, not too bulky and very easy to carry around.  It fit my D7000 w/ 18-200mm and 50mm perfect. There's a compartment is just
right for the 18-200 or something like a 55-200mm.  It has 2 more compartments.  I was perfect for my extra battery and the other had pockets for my extra memory cards.

How's that D7000 working for you?  And what did you use prior to that model?  Also, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you get it for?
I currently use a D40, but am looking to upgrade.  I can get a D7000 for about $1000, which I hear is a pretty good deal... but then again, $1000 is still $1000.  I also have an 18-200 and a 35 1.8 as well.

I'm loving the D7000. I upgraded from a D50 and paid $1049 on Amazon. I sold my D50 for $250 on Ebay so that helped a little.
