Lenses in this case dont improve picture quality, they just change the distances in which you can shoot at. Trust me your picture quality is fine. Are you sure you dont have the ISO turned up too high?

II keep the ISO at 100. I have only been taking pictures in well lit places.

I bought a 50mm f/1.8.

50mm f/1.8 is what I bought. I would recommend the 50mm f/1.4 if you can afford it, though. you next lens should be (in this order) 35mm f/1.8 (for autofocus), 50mm f/1.8, or 50mm f/1.4.

Does anyone have any experience with the Olympus EP-1 or 2? I used to use an E-420, but decided to get rid of it and return to the ease of a P&S, but I'm planning a study abroad to Sweden and would like to take some HD Video Clips as well as have some nice crisp shots to remember my trip there. Anyone got a clue about how this Micro 4/3 system works?

Been lurking around too much. Juz bought a 1000D. I found that the 50mm f/1.8 is good for portraits and low lights, while the 18-55mm kit lens is good for general purpose and macro. So far I only have the 50mm and 18-55mm. Using the kit lens for macro shots atm.
