I'm looking for a nice point and shoot for my upcoming trip to Utah. I know Canon is a reputable brand, but any specific models to look for? My price range is $100-$250.

If you don't care about HD video I heard the Canon A3100 is good and its real cheap.. between $125-150 is what I've seen it at.

i tried to create a HDR photo from three different exposures of some kush and the picture had blotches of purple and teal. is this because my pic files are jpeg and not raw format? PM me to see the pic.

I have a Canon PowerShot A1100IS and after thinking I lost the manual I found out it didn't come with one. I've been reading it trying to take better pics, I also peeped those links posted by TheEmperor45 (which did help, thanks) and threw some pics on the blog. It's in my sig check it out.
