So for the people who are interested in the DC meet up, dstylezs and I have been doing some talking and decided to arrange a meet up for next weekend (8/7-8/8 ) The plan is pretty much just to have a good time, take pics, and grab a bite somewhere along the way.

If you're interested, go ahead pm dstylezs or me and well go from there. Hopefully this will all work out!

I'm about to invest in a Nikon D3000 and get this car photography off of the ground.

Any tips that I should know more of for shooting cars/motorcycles?

Dont get a D3000...

PLus there is a new entry level camera coming out in a month or so and the D3000 will be discontinued. You should just wait cause even if you don't get the new camera that is coming out, the D3000 will at least drop down in price.

Long exposure... 5sec and above gets god distance on the streaks...

For all the DC photogs.. Lets get this Photo Meet going!! we already got a date and location!

dc area photogs...you ARE aware that 8/7 is the day of the DMV forums usual meet up at the Mad Hatter on Conn Ave right?

i'll b there but not for too long im shooting Fabolous at Club 24 that night too so shoot me a message if u need any more info or just check the dmv regional threads
