The people that say polo is dead are immature. They have a high school mentality. They used to think a horse shirt was like gucci and now thinking they are too good for it. They dont even know about the certain varieties or lines that polo releases. I bet if you wore some really special pieces.. . Some of these same people would ask you what it was and where you got it..while they are wearing brands that were inspired by polo lol. Wear a red pwing crew from 2017 or a indian head sweater or even one of thise dope fly fshing vests...dudes gona be scratching their heads asking you what it is. If they don’t know what it is they’re lame. Your whole wardrobe doesn’t have to be polo but they are definitely pieces out there worthy of grabbing

Ppl really be comin in this thread havin me lost talkin bout what ladies like. I buy what I want cuz I want it. I’ve pulled plenty of beautiful women wearing a simple white tee with a horse at the bottom right and some sweats. If y’all like other brands cool. If we like Polo cool. If y’all buying other stuff because you think Lo is out of style and ladies won’t like you if you have it on cool. I don’t see either being a problem. I really don’t be understanding why ppl hop up on here tryna bash ppl already engaged in a 1700+ page thread lol

There's always a few people that take make it their soul purpose to ruin this thread for others with insults and idiocy. They know who they are.

And there are the builders: those who actually contribute to the tread and join the conversation about Ralph Lauren (and occasionally Italian Sportswear). You all are appreciated.

This thread usually doesn't heat up until the launch of a collection or news of an anticipated collection. Fall is starting to rollout, so the this thing will start moving in the right direction again soon. In the meantime you posting the customs, pickups, and past layouts put some good energy into the thread.

Its an early b day present. I figured instead of buying a few polo items, I would buy
one special item that I know will match any shorts I have on in Miami. Its all white.

The polo shorts wont resell well. I dont wanna wear something that another man's balls and a-hole
were in. Im talking vintage resale value. Not new resale.
That drops the vintage resale value allot for me. So u got 2 choices with the shorts. You wear them and take care of them.
Or you buy 2. 1 to keep and one for the collection.

I dont care how crispy the shorts are, I wont buy any vintage items worn below the waistline.

I plan on selling the polo collection when I turn 50 and thats way off down the line.
So the snow beach stadium p wing and all that ski stuff will return the money.
