The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Go with whatever you like best. You'll get better armor soon anyways.

Currently doing the Trials of Muspelheim. So far they're not too hard. Niflheim is harder to me.
But that defeat 100 enemies in a row one was a slog. Had to take a break after that.
Gonna get back on and finish them later. I better get something good at the end of this.

none of them are really that bad

the valkyrie in arena 6 can be challenging w/o good gear tho

the "impossible" versions of the trials are hella easy too and u only have to beat three of them

took down sigrun , freed the last dragon and did all the niflheim stuff this w/e

cant wait to do another playthru on give me a challenge w/ immersive HUD

this game man

GOW question

I died like 3 times and went to sleep

The first game disappointed me. Shocked that a second one is coming. Maybe it will be better?

The first game was more of a technical showcase of the id Tech 5 game engine. I had the X360 version and quite enjoyed the first half of the game on disc 1. The second half of the game on disc 2 started out fine with the bigger town then felt rushed towards the end. The ending happened so randomly that it almost felt as if the developers were out of time and had to release the game.

The game really felt like a prologue. Technically it was cool but I was interested in the world and I didn't really get the hook until the ending.

Oddly I did like the world and felt the immersion factor was quite good. I played the game some time in '12 after purchasing it for < $20 so I thought I got my money's worth regardless. As before I was expecting way more out of the second disc though with the tougher baddies, and the last mission was massively disappointing.

Looks like they are adding some multiplayer elements to this one.

I rented it. When we signaled for the station to fall, I was like "more regular people? Let's do this! Wait the credits?! Noooooo"

The good thing about Rage 2 is that it's a collaboration with the studio that makes the Just Cause series, so hopefully we get to do a lot of the shenanigans that Rico can do. :lol

I can't remember who was a fan, or even if they still post in here, but there is an El Shaddai spiritual successor dropping in June called The Lost Child.
