I'm surprised it took this long to be honest. FIFA have a similar deal with EA which is why they support old consoles for a long time.
You can still get FIFA 19 on PS3.

I'm down with a FFVI remake as long as square enix doesn't do this episodic release BS again like they've done with FFVIIR and when they had the rights to Hitman in 2016
