I don't really notice it, but my gameplay style is very slow. I tend to walk around the map more than run, even when I'm on horseback. I also take the fights slow and try not to hack and slash. I did the same with The Witcher 3 and I felt like that was a clunky game if you tended to run around everywhere you go. That game benefited me with a slower play style.

Just finished it and I was underwhelmed. Felt more like a gamepass showcase than a next gen showcase but that's not a necessarily a bad thing.
Games are subjective so I'm sure loads got excited about that lineup or the fact you can test all those games but nothing screamed next gen in terms of gameplay or graphics.
I guess you can see the SSD working in the Medium and some Ray Tracing in Forza but that was just in engine stuff.
However the graphics on Halo. This is not what I was expecting from 12TF.
Older consoles are definitely holding the game back because even Destiny 2 looks better than this
The digital foundry episode on this is going to be good.
Dude on the left looking like a budget Thanos.
No pricing or Series S either but this was for games so that's fine.
Man someone needs to blink first, we're almost in August with no price
Favourite thing about the conference was seeing black women in 3 games. Add that to Deathloop and we got some good representation. Hopefully we see more variety like this next gen.

Weird that DQ11 was announced pre-show, but that would have been a decent reveal during the show.

I need to see the showcase for myself when I get home. I thought Halo was supposed to be “the game” to get the hype train going.

Probably thought since it’s coming to Steam and PS4 it’s not worth showing. Plus it costs $40 as opposed to being a “free” upgrade.

I believe it would have been disappointing regardless of what was shown. It was a simple 10 minute snippet of a mission.

Just seen that Ray Tracing for this game is coming post launch and you can see pop-in as well.
Yea it's not ready.
The other games, even the ones far off look more interesting.

I’ve been staying out of this thread since I haven’t finished the last of us 2 yet.
And all I have to say is I can’t believe this game is still going on. I’m happy it is, but after what happened at the movie theater in Seattle, I def thought the game was ending. Will be back when I finally finish it.

Not excusing them, but I have a feeling that they thought that this game would've been out last year since the graphics reflect something more of this gen instead of next gen. In all honesty, they should have just made it as an exclusive launch title for the XSX, but they let that gamepass crap handicap their development.
