the steel 222 might legit be my endgame watch

i wont stop buying watches but thats like the holy grails of holy grails for me and if its the last watch i buy, i think id be fine with my collection as is

There’s just something about blue and gold watches that looks so so good. I like the shade of green VC used there too but the blue is special.

The blue dial/rose gold MUT perpetual is one of my retirement-worthy grails

I did try in the seamaster in store though.

seamaster should be readily available and maybe even on a discount

ask your AD how long it will take for you to get an explorer because theres a good chance you can get the seamaster now and have enough money saved for the explorer again by the time you get the call

SS Daytona and Pepsi still not available for me even though I’ve spent a decent amount with my current AD. At least VC doesn’t seem to play the availability game. He told he 3-6 months for the SS overseas.

I have a Batman and Santos. I’m stuck between these two watches for my next.

I want the SM because I love the green but I also want a 36mm Explorer 1, a watch without a big bezel. Thoughts?
Explorer. More subtle. Both are cool as hell tho

I tried that 007 Seamaster on a while back. While the SM is generally too big for my preferences, I was really disappointed with the bracelet. I can't remember what the clasp was but it was not comfortable (for me) at all.

I also tried on the new reverse panda Speedmaster recently and was extremely impressed with that one. But $10.4k for that was also absurd imo.

the 007 SM is 11.3k retail... omega done lost their mind.
I think one of their big problems is too much product at too high a price. I think consolidation across the product range and listening to the audience would do them good.

Doesn't help that Tudor have slipped into their old spot and Cartier has become so much more desirable.

Uncle straps do some good bracelets for it including a nice mesh with integrated lugs.
