as far as lore, yeah, you're right. but i gave up on the movies following g1 storylines after the first movie. its a joke it took them 4 movies to let frank welker, who did an awesome job might i add, do megatron.

as far as the movies its like dude its a transformers movie. people want to analyze and overthink everything. dude, its a movie about cars transforming into robots.   just sit back and enjoy it. 

And that's why Michael Bay gets a pass.

Actually I tend to think there's a lot of character depth in Dora the explorer
They explain her motivation and give her a real sense of being an everyday day kid in this day and age

Yeah pretty much. Every episode was basically a random non mattering event that was fixed within the 30mins.


The only thing I cared about was the personalities of the main characters. Once they botched that up I've come to realize just to watch the movie for the action and call it a day.



What they need to do is focus on 5 good guys, 5 bad guys, and stick to a linear plot. Where they mess things up is with the over complicated plot with "I don't care if you live or die and kinda don't even know who you are" characters

This is transformers people. Complaining about too many explosions is like complaining there's too much robots

Some people take movies to that level where everything not TDK or dances with wolves is trash

I always say that if today's moviegoers were around back in the day we wouldn't have half of the classics that we do today.

Stuff like Gremlins, Total Recall, and Ghostbusters wouldn't even been given the time of day.

Still can't believe they did my dude ratchet like that! Legit had dem feels when dude was pleading with them.


I wonder if that was a Quints hand firing the metalic terraforming of earth at the very beginning of the movie on the ship?

Also, when lockdown said some along the lines of "you humans think you're the center of the universe...you have no idea" made me think he was possibly hinting unicron...

That's EXACTLY what he was hinting at.

As soon as he said it in the movie me and my brother gave each other the "awww shiii" look.

He was basically a ripoff of Springer.

It is what it is. Robots destroying Earth as humans watch.

heading out to see it tonight, and from the looks of things seems like a lot of people didn't think the movie was that great? Hopefully I'm not wasting my money lol, but nevertheless...i did like all the previous transformer movies.  Can't wait to see how this one is....

when Tessa fell asleep, she was sleeping on 2 chairs, while clearly there was a perfectly good sofa in front on her

lol lucas!? dude was a snitch deserved all that came to him haha. Movie was basically a set up for the next 2 movies. Hopefully the next two movies have a better "story". My love for transformers is deep but that "man made" transformium was beyond my comprehension

The only thing the films have in common with G1 are the name, factions and the leader of each respective factions and bumblebee. Everything else is a joke. I've seen every transformer film in theaters and each time I'm more shocked that Bay can not give any ***** about actual Transformer lore. Like he could actually follow some G1 story arcs and make a good film. He could follow the mini-con saga from Armada and make a great film. So many stories....and yet he rather give us a geriatric Jetfire

did you ever read that article someone posted earlier about the g1 story lines? Something like they really didn't have a story line and the company just wanted them to throw the toy characters into to introduce them to the kids.

Did you even watch the show? They go back in time through a timewarp in episode 1...

autobots/decepticons head to earth ----> crash & stay in stasis lock on primitive earth ------> wake up from volcano millions of years later in 1984(this is g1)

who like that beastwars ******** man im a g1 fan in my opinion the only true line of tf universe if they ever attempt a beastwars movie that **** will bomb hard .....after seeing movie number 4 its like the dinobots didnt have a place mashing them up at the end of the movie like they did the robot joke they called devestator wad a waste then letting them be free or some ******** prime kept running.....the movies ending was ****** up and corny smh tf4 had good scenes which made it better than 2 or 3....i hope next film the quintessons are the villians and they stick to original characters
