Verizon 4G LTE?

Any reason that I should go 4G LTE or that I shouldn't?

About to upgrade and thinking about going to an iPhone 4s or to one of the Droids in 4G.. just can't settle on which -

battery life is supposedly subpar when using VZW 4G LTE regularly.

that being said i'm still getting the Droid 4 when it drops.

Personally, I feel like the battery capacity in phones isn't ready for LTE. I've seen the battery life in my friend's phones on Verizon LTE, while it is super fast, their batteries were atrocious. They were constantly looking for outlets or charging in their cars. Most of them kept LTE off for that reason

I'd much rather have my phone run the whole day and get 8 mbps than get 25-30 mbps and last 3 hours, that's me though.

Yes, the 4s has been having battery issues, but I feel like it's a minority of cases. My battery life has been great and I bought it on release day.
