This girl is so ******* stupid. She been puttin her floor in her mouth for a hot minute.
Her and her stupid *** hair can get all the way out of here.
She's clearly voting for Carson. Or Trump. Doesn't matter
"She says some dumb S"
-Christopher B. Pearman (her dad)
She said what others practice and believe.
But she is just doing whatever she needs to do to stay relevant
She needs to go somewhere....out here looking like Foghorn Leghorn
she looks like a rooster.
This is true. People face discrimination in education admissions, employment and other financial matters. Names are important and when you name your child something "unique", you force them to work harder because of said discrimination. When it comes to the Black community and these names, the parents doing the naming are often uneducated and have no understanding of the burden they are putting on their child's shoulders. Your name and your actions (dress, speak) will define how people judge you. Is it right? No, but that's how it is.
YOUR POST IS LITTERED WITH PREJUDICE AND MAKES ME SAD
"THAT'S HOW IT IS"?????
Agreed. When I worked at the boys and girls clubs back in undergrad, I'd often encounter little kids whose names were so off the wall that I couldn't help but to feel like they were being set up for a rough existence. The club that I was at was in a pretty impoverished neighborhood and you could tell that some of those kids didn't have the best home lives. There was this one family whose mother never came to pick up the kids. The youngest daughter's name was actually Fa'eva (Forever). Couldn't help but to feel unnerved by the mom's choice to make her that.
I was the graduate assistant for my masters program. never once did it cross my mind that a name meant someone wasn't good enough or smart enough.
Hates ghetto names...has ghetto hair. Raven been shuckin and jivin for a minute though. The fool was heard a mile away while Whoopi was just in the corner chillin...
The tragic irony is that I'm sure many would prejudice and discriminate against her based upon her appearance.
I'm against hiring ignorant people with disgusting hairstyles.
It's not an indicator of how smart or "good enough" a person may be. But you're silly if you think there aren't people out there that discriminate against others based on something as simple as their name.
Let's remember that Ms. Pearman doesn't identify herself as African American, only American. She doesn't want to identify herself with any type of black culture. Raven looks like she begs to snort lines with the Olsen twins at parties to put on her snapchat
Her older sister's name was Tequila. Swear I wish I was making this stuff up.
At least Tequila was spelled the standard way. How are you going to name your kid Forever but spell it your own way with an apostrophe?
