What's your plan for the Concords?

JB is the manufacturer, not the retailer... but I completely see your point. JB's marketing schemes are disgusting and it's sickening to think they can prevent this buy simply producing more sneakers.
sure, and de beers can loosen da cartel's grip of diamonds they have so they can become more available and da price and come down...

if you wanna put away extra cash put it towards a fast computer and fast internet + a lot of patience

works like a charm

it def aint a new era of sneaker heads more like a new era of crazy $#% hype beast

I guess come to think of it, a suit against JB probably won't work, as the shoe itself is not causing the harm...but can't blame me for thinking it could actually work, we live in a country of technicalities...people sue for practically ANYTHING.

He is comparing the way that Jordan Brand limits supply of these Jordan Retros to how De Beers the diamond company does with their diamonds.

Ive seen some stupid posts on NT, but this takes the cake for Dec man.  Youre usually alright too
laugh.gif

I dunno how this is so stupid or far fetched to you, have you not heard the type of suits people have brought up against these large coorporations and win??...someone burning themselves with coffee and sueing because there is no warning on the cup that says "it's hot", McDonald's doing away wth the supersize option because fools can't control their eating habits, all this stuff is no different then stupid ignorant dudes getting killed on a release date, there is no caption on the JB box that says "attempting to buy this shoe might get you killed"

Jordan Brand/Nike is not selling this shoe to the public, they sell it to the retailer.  It is the retailer and malls who set up the midnight releases and provide the security. Releases at Niketowns are set up much more organized then at regular retailers.  Why did the lady who got the coffee spilled on her not sue the company who made the Coffee that supplied McDonalds? She sued the place she bought it from, not the company who made it. McDonalds doesnt manufacture or produce any of the products they sell.

I dont think so, ninjas just gonna do the same damn thing for the tickets. Maybe worse knowing that the next man with a ticket is getting a pair for sure and he aint.

Have half of these kids even seen or watched MJ play before?

I don't understand the hype behind these... paying 180+ for some overpriced, cheaply made sneakers. And to add insult to injury, lining up in below freezing weather just to have a chance to buy. What a shame. You're just fattening this scumbag's pockets... MJ's laughing his way to the bank right now.

wouldn't stop the robberies and fights though.  unless you start requiring heavier police presence.  but until there's lawsuits over the dangerous environment they wont pick up that added cost.

My Finishline did this. People would randomly go in, ask about it, handed out tickets, and told them to come back at 7 for them to start selling them. They were probably out of tickets by the time Finishline closed, too. Of course, not many people knew that, so they ended up waiting outside Finishline regardless. The store was closed as well, so there was no one telling them any of this. I wonder if a riot broke out.

So they shut down NT for the @###

this is why the whole "sneaker game" and collecting Js just isn't for me anymore.

MJ doing that birdman hand rub right about now.

C'mon man, it's not even about Jordan fandom, hasn't been for years.
It's no different from any other status symbol people buy into that are relatively useless.
Gucci wallets, LV belts, luxury brand cars, rapper-endorsed alcohol, Jesus pieces, and Concord 11s.

If anything, they would sue the retailer.  Some of these locations have no line coordination at all, hence the craziness.

I remember when the DMPs came out, I got the last pair and they gave me a police escort to my boy's car

Ended up selling them to my cousin this year for retail, only wore concords twice and the other pair never.

Those days never existed, unless you lived in the middle of nowhere.
I live in BFE, Iowa and that +$$# still doesn't even happen.

Sold out in 5 min. Employees at Finishline getting them,
