Regarding his album. We probably won't see his debut until 2016.

I'm not even really a Drake fan but Gates isn't as melodic as future or drake and can't do either of their styles better..so yea I'd have to say pretty much your whole comment is untrue.  But please ping me in December when the whole landscape of rap changes and I'll throw you some reps

Listened to the first Luca Brasi again recently and it still goes hard. Love the way Gates can transition between rapping and singing so smoothly. Hope the album will be good. Rappers release too much music nowadays.
 
I still haven't heard a complete project from him that I really liked. He'll go in on a verse on other people's stuff, get my hyped, then will mostly underwhelm me on his own stuff. Will keep an eye out for the album though

You doing too much! This is coming from someone who bangs gates weekly. Was daily until this DS2 dropped.

That's incest mess now kicking ole girl in the chest pushed him back a lot. He will have to drop something so powerful and prob have to have a heavy hitting feature to overcome that n go mainstream.
