it was 24bit... everything else was 16-20 thats not like some technologically leaps and bounds... It had more to do with them basically selling the whole "arcade" experience at home with its game lineup and the arcade like controllers etc... And considering video gaming wasnt at the levels it is now...ppl werent trying to spend damn near a grand to play video games..thus why that thing fell hard..No it wasn't. Dude It was an ARCADE SYSTEM in your home! It came out in 1990, back then no other console was ******* with it.
