Naw man. There's def like 3 or more different levels/personas of lil wayne.
You got the hot boys guttah/soulja rags kid with potential. Then you have the squad up hungry & spitting but unrefined Wayne circa 01-03.
Then in 04-07 we get Wayne at his lyrical peak, with a real claim to "best rapper alive, since the best rapper retired" throne. This is the "down south Jay z" flow wayne, Dipset era Wayne. Rapping on manny fresh and soul beats. During this time period...we get a great mix of Albums and Mixtapes ( Carter 1 & 2. The Prefix, Suffix, Dedication 1 & 2, W. carter Collections, The Drought, Lil Weezy Ana, Like Father Like Son Mixtape/Album etc).
After that it's straight mixtape and feature Wayne from '08-now who then breaks thru the pop mainstream and enjoys his commercial and creative peak...but gets progressively worse year after year.
That's the musical history of Wayne in a Nutshell lol. Best wayne verse since '07 was probably that one on believe me. Dude doesn't have it in I'm anymore.
