i dont know that car like that so i wouldn't know

just get something reliable for your first car, with only got 6k just get a camry or civic...if something happens to an old bmw it could run you hundreds or thousands several times over...not a wise decision at all

And you 16 years old, have a seat. You not ready for no real man car yet, fam. How log have you even been driving? You must've just got your little drivers license and you over here talking about you want a BMW. I'm not trying to come off rude or anything, but kids these days need someone like me to talk them back into reality. Don't get a BMW, especially not no 99 BMW. Are you dumb? That **** will last you like 1 year. Do you even have a steady income to pay for BMW maintenance? Can you afford premium gas?

Take your $5000 and get a 2004-2006 Honda Accord. Way more reliable and more bang for your buck. You not ready for no luxury car yet. You still in high school  what you want a BMW for? To impress girls that ain't even lose all their baby teeth yet?

And it's a known fact that you ALWAYS bang up your first car. Why buy a BMW just so you can ding it up and pay more thousands to get it repainted? Think realistically, fam. Buy a Honda/Toyota/Nissan, stack your money, then once you hit 19-20, maybe then you can step your car game up to something nice. And females at that age won't be rocking Barbie backpacks anymore

Cop a Nissan/Toyota/Honda to cruise around in.. Low maintenance, good on gas and they're actually pretty dope cars when modded tastefully.

Depends on what u want op
You want something to take u to point a to point b then back to point a get a Japanese carcompany. You want something that you think is luxury but have to spend lots of money on repairs and maintenance get a German/euro car company.
You want something you can do donuts, big burnouts, relatively small matenience cost cop American (v8 rwdstick(mustang,Camaro, firebird and a few other but out your price range) all things you want)
You want lots of space For the homies and a place to get yambs cop a suv or mini van shout out to the home Andretti
What do you need your car too do?

lol ive been driving since i was like 11 being dead serious. my family has a garage so i get the privilege to drive alot of cars. imo those are my favorite bmws so thats why i was going for them. thanks for the info tho

Get a reliable 4 door sedan (camry/civic), drive that for a few years then upgrade. Insurance won't be as much as a coupe or a sports car. You'll also learn how to work on your car since you can do most of the things on your own when something breaks down and parts don't cost that much.

Find the nearest chair and have a seat.

You could be "driving since you was still in your moms stomach" and you STILL gon bang up your first car. If not physically, then you'll wreck it with maintenance (overdue oil changes, put in the wrong gas, etc.) The first car is for you to mess up on and realize what it takes to have some wheels. You don't have to have a bucket, but you don't have to have a BMW either.

If your smart, you'll realize that:

  • Impressing high school girls with a BMW means you got no game, prolly.
  • Impressing college girls with a BMW means you got no game, prolly.
  • Throwing money into a BMW maintenance/purchase is a waste of time because you'll need that money in college.
  • If you tryna stunt, wait till you get your full time first job post grad, purchase your car build your credit and then flourish.
  • If you really are into that whole car scene type deal, then there are better car options than a BMW that you can build up and maintain yourself.

Anyone ever bought from a car rental spot like Enterprise or National

The prices are reasonable for their 4 years and below cars

However, you know there have been multiple drivers. There's a good chance that it's been beaten up because it's a rental
