Have never been on a cruise before, but won a cruise (7 day to destination of choice - to be used by end of the year), gifted a 3 day cruise (Mexican Rivera) going next month, and going on a cruise for my boy's 40th later in the year.

I'm going to this time share presentation. Just for going they give me a weekend cruise thing, free room at a Vegas resort, or something about Disneyland. I went to a different one and got a 4 night stay in San Diego. That was pretty cool

Works been busy, was hoping Miami would be in the ECF to catch a playoff game in Miami before setting sail.
Have a spare paid for ticket that just opened up. Already locked in PTO/Leave, so I'm going regardless.

Yeah, I read through your responses in this thread and the comments of others. Seems like overwhelming positive experiences all the way around.
7 day Eastern Caribbean, looking forward exploring a few islands and really the whole experience.

Went by myself after the lady couldn't make it with unfortunate news two weeks before our departure.
I went and had a blast...basketball on the ship and at the VI & PR. Comedy shows, nightclub, art shows, met cool *** people and a bomb *** chick there too.
Flying down to Tampa to see her and her cool *** family in two weeks.
Everything was good except OKC pissing away their series lead.
I'm doing the Western Caribbean Cruise in the Fall/Next Year...amazing time and not even expensive. I've spent more money in NY/Vegas/Atlantic City even before.

I see now why you were excited.
I came back after that week on another level...quit my job to take a new one, CAVS coming back to win me some money, the cruise director Eric B was hilarious and I can't see why some people complain about cruises.
If you take advantage of everything sheeeeeeeesh. Brought back 6 bottles of Henny White, tons of cologne and gifts for people and actually lost weight on the damn boat. Took like 3000 pictures too.

I try to tell people all the time. If u take advantage of everything they offer u will have a great time. Usually most people I know that don't enjoy it are the ones that like to go on vacation and sit on the beach all day and sipping a little wine. Me and my girl party.... party hard and like to meet new people. It's my favorite way to travel.

I'm down. I let the old lady do all the logistics and I did a little research. Still have no idea what's the difference between the three and well Disney is Disney.

Cruise is another one of those things where you def get what you pay for. Families with kids usually go on budget cruises so if you don't want to be stuck with a bunch of kids onboard, go for something a little more pricey. You will find more interesting people on pricier cruises.
