Yeah 100% agree. From 2012 to 2013 , I go out at least 2-3 times a week. A pack of cigs a day. Plus bong rips sometimes. By the August of 2013. Every night was like I was getting a heart attack when sleeping alone. Evey single night was a nightmare for about 1 month. I seriously thought I was going to die. Then I quit all those. Took me more than a year to recover. Now I still get exhausted after running a few laps. Remember the days I could play ball the whole afternoon under the sun. My body has weakened so much with all the alcohol and tabacco I consumed.
alcohol is a depressant. That's how it's supposed to make you feel. Also, you may not have experienced this yet in life, but as you get older you'll find that you can't do the things you once did. You might be able to play ball 8 hours a day when you're 18-24 years old. But you'll gradually notice that it takes longer to recover. And smaller collisions hurt you easier. The brain works the same way. You get more emotional, easier. You don't recover from drinking as fast. You'll take breakups harder as you get older. Sad truth of life man but just know, it's normal. And try and come to terms with it as soon as you can.
I didnt see something so genuine in a long time on NT. How about the social aspect? When you guys hang out, or be in situations involving alcohol, what do you guys do?
Are you guys clean in the sense you are sober X years, or clean in the sense, you can monitor or consume as needed?
