Ja Rule's finesse of the Century - Fyre Festival

I legit wish I could travel back in time to like '00-'02 when people were really still bumping Ja and be like "Know what he's gonna be doing in like 15 years...?"

This is the reality check most of these cats needed, but I'm guessing most of them will whine & keep their eyes shut to avoid their eyes being "opened" to real life...

A Murda Inc World Tour would only be Ja, Ashanti, and Lloyd, cause no one else popped off. Charlie Baltimore was known more for red hair than her music, and Cadillac Tah, Black Child, the rest of those dudes didn't have anything.

I agree, but when you think about it they did pay out the ***. I assume they expected a degree of comfort and luxury, but they just happened to be smote down by the Zoe Gawds

Please note​ I'm not playing devil's advocate or sticking up for this kind of behavior

If they were to behave like that in the event of an ACTUAL disaster tho...

Just when you thought Fyre Festival couldn’t get worse, it did. Ja Rule and business buddy Billy McFarland have sent out instructions on how to receive refunds, but there’s a twist. With all the bad media the festival has been getting and a $100 million lawsuit, they’ve set up another option that could save them “hypothetically.”

Instead of a good old fashion refund, they’re giving ticket holders the choice between a full refund or tickets to next year’s “planned festival.”

The email sent wrote, “Would you prefer to exchange your 2017 ticket(s) for additional 2018 VIP passes, as opposed to receiving a refund? (Ex: If you purchased 3 passes for 2017 you would receive 6 total 2018 VIP passes.)” As if that wasn’t enough they went on to say: “As you likely know, we’ve been through the ringer on social media and this has been a challenging week for us as we were unable to realize our dream on the first try. We are now one of the world’s most famous festivals, for all the wrong reasons. We want to reverse that sentiment by producing something amazing. We are fully committed to this event next year, and to producing it in the most professional way, with experienced professionals. We have received support and commitments from several musicians to perform at next year’s event.”

Sounds like more false promises and an easy way out, but only time can tell. Let’s see if anyone takes the dive again and gives them another chance next year.

If they were somehow able to actually make the next one smackin', they could potentially
make boat loads of money in the future. Simply due to the fact that they're gonna have
so many eyes watching due to all this free publicity. Everyone is gonna be tuned in
waiting for another **** show
 
I could see next year being at least decent and a few people taking that offer. I mean, it can't be no worse right.....
 
Next year is going to be a letdown. It's just going to be another music festival. Nothing unique or special about it.

They said they gonna hold it in the United States

Hope they hold it in some backwoods at South Carolina
