Every player you named maxed themselves out. Gave their all. If you think Howard gave his all last night then fine. I can't convince you. Chalk it up to a bad game. What if he doesn't get 20-15 next game or the remaining ones? 20-15 is a base average for this series. What do you expect from him? What's acceptable to you in the WCF from a player of his stature?

Homie, being a dominant defensive player and singlehandedly locking down the paint while getting those numbers is plenty.  Not to mention Howard has played his heart out every year he's been in the playoffs.  You're blaming him for getting traded to a garbage Lakers team he didn't want to play for, while he was injured.

Sure he's better than my bigs. Since when has Gortat or Nene been considered a top 5 big though? Gortat came off the bench for the dude in Orlando. I'm not going that far. This isn't random slander but a basketball fans frustration with a player that disappoints constantly.

I've been tough on Dwight at times. I've talked about how he's got to start hitting some ft's and how his ft % has actually gotten worse during the playoffs. He has been mentally weak at times during the season and his career. I think game 4 against the clippers was a good example where he came out overly aggressive and too hyped up and picked up dumb quick fouls. Ended up doing absolutely nothing that game. He's had a couple of bad games, but other than that, he's played well. In fact, he's been our best player for the majority of the playoffs...but did you come in here spewing your nonsense after all those good games? Doubt it.

I live just outside of DC so I'd volunteer to come play ball with this guy, but I'm sure he'd just be a scrub playing against a bunch of other scrubs and that'd be everything I needed to know right there.

But I openly said he had a bad game. Not sure how much the injury affected him, but he played decent before that. After that though, you could see him getting boxed out by smaller guys and not fighting through like he typically does. That's when I was like...might be bad.

Perfect example actually: he's getting boxed out and does a strong swim move to get around it in the first quarter for an easy put back dunk. After he got hurt, he wasn't making the effort to get around and was just letting them box him out. There was also a fast break where he was running down the court and you could just tell he wasn't able to run back full speed.

He's best off pick and rolls and crashing the boards. A post up every once in a while to keep him engaged and the defense honest is the most he would get in an ideal world.

Dwight Howard is pure trash. I don't respect this dude at all. He is by far the biggest waste of God given talent and ability I've ever seen in a professional athlete. He has NO HEART and is the definition of mentally soft. Lames and Rockets fans who haven't figured it out yet will defend him. If I was Houston I'd trade him or cut him outright. I can find big guys at gyms across the world with more fight and will to win then that guy.

If he can't average 20-15 in this series sleeping vs Bogut and the boys I honestly believe he should be thrown out the league. Right along side the Knicks.
