STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

I've lost any and all motivation to hit the gym now. Any way to get that fire back

The pain of discipline is less than that of regret.

Lol I was just in Philadelphia. No idea what region of Pennsylvania that is.

Rittenhouse Square is great. Lots of stuff to do plus they have lots of crossfit gyms and appear to have a budding Olympic weightlifting scene. If I could afford to live there as a single nurse. I would.
Wait you're a nurse?

Outchea causing all kind of havoc and you in the medical profession.

Health care profession but yea. Medical profession applies to doctors and physician assistants and ****

Naaaaa I'm havoc free man lol

Bro.....lmao
I dont think that motivates me...
Success stories do.

Adobe you can always start saucin get that testerone up and then be motivated

High rep DL days. :pimp:

Went 315x12 and 405x6

Hit an incline DB press PR in honor of the homie that made a trip to snap city.

100x6, 110x3.

Time to eat lots of food.

I'm lighter than I was in high school, but I was way more ripped back then. I know muscle weighs way more than fat, but as i keep losing weight, I still have my belly. I know you can't target fat loss on a certain body spot, but any advice guys? Am I losing weight too fast? Should i lift more along with the cardio and caloric deficit?

My back is always fine. It's my quads and inner leg that get destroyed. I walk like a cowboy 3 days after if I'm going heavy.

I can't say it will work for everyone but use a foam roller. For me over the last year or so it's been a saving grace in recovery and even warming up the muscle prior to either HIIT (sprints), flag football or squat/deads. Just a suggestion but to each their own. I lurk in here quite a bit but never post much. Hopefully this helps someone.
nah. But on a positive note, you'll save 2-3 hours a day and you can rock skinny jeans

Eat my spaghetti today to prepare for dead lift day. Or wait til tomm for post work out.......decisions

Finished week 3 of DL program. Definitely feel like its improving although its still early. Had to do 300 today and did it easy. I normally do 315 so that felt good. Going for PR 320 next week.

Had 1 of these and a banana before hitting the gym lol
400

isn't a pound of fat and a pound of muscle both a pound??? I believe fat is more dense, but a pound is a pound lol

The hell kind of mental gymnastics yall doing in here?

But yea you're right, the density of muscle tissue is about 20% greater than fatty tissue.

Bulgarian splits are no joke
I do em sometimes at the end of leg day when I'm gassed and don't even grab any weight
