I second the use of solid color seamless roll paper just because the wrinkles/creases fabric backdrops are annoying and no amount of ironing seems to get them out for me. I only truly use fabric when shooting still life because of the different print options.
So much this! I have the alien bees, external battery(non vagabond), and a few modifiers like parabolic umbrella and octobox.
I've wasted so much money with cheap little continuous lighting setups off Amazon. I wish I would've waited to invest in just some nice inexpensive, yet reliable...
Because it's their body and they can do what they want?
The only thing that has changed from then and now is the use of digital technology.
