Problem is I run from an M to an XL in Nike sizing, especially for the tees. Pretty much can't be sure what I should be getting. Not being in the US and trying to get forwarding isn't helping as well :(
Sharp eyes you have. Yes, those are seconds. How did you tell?
I don't get the toe wrap thing, do you mean the leather around the toe area? Might be just the angle, but they look fine to me. Maybe I like it this way more, balances out the sharpness of the overall look. :D
Thanks! Brings a lot of relief.
I'm unfamiliar with the whole "replica" scene, so checking it out to protect my future purchases. From what I can glean, they do tend to sway towards the hyped models or expensive models more. And the higher the demand, the closer to the actual thing they might...
I've been through more than 200 pages, still nothing. Maybe I'll start from page 1 in my time.
Anyways, checked again on my pair and found out what went wrong. The toebox is "pushed" back by the front sole, causing the bump. This is due to the sole not properly glued on, there was quite a gap...
About time I guess, never done one of these. So please help me with a LC, thanks everyone.
Regarding material, are you talking about the suede quality? Also, I've read on here some others look for the widows peak etc.
Been looking through some reddit replica sneaker page, and absolutely horrified. Got me to thinking, is there a page for identifying fake 997's in here? All I know is to look for the sole (3 piece construction?), any other tips I should be looking for?
And do they make fake 997GY's? I've seen a...
Looking at the recent releases, noticed quite a few complaints regarding quality mostly with the Oreo 2.0. Or is it a general trend affecting all colorways?
I noticed recently, my Geckos has what appears to be a "bulge" where the knit meets the toe sole. Only on the right side though, the left...
I don't understand, you mean the yarn is less of a V shape and appears somewhat like an O. As if someone took a pin to them or you snagged them somehow?
Other than that can't see any defects tbh, the yarn near the edges have always looked a bit mucky due to glue and stuff haven't they?
So these along with Total Orange and Oreo 1.0 is making a return.
What exactly is Nike's strategy regarding these reissues? Controlling the resell market, pushing the Racer into the mainstream?
Side note, original flavor still tastes the best but quality of noodles have gone down no?
If it helps, I've got the Oreos on preorder as well. Last PDR reps told me was Nike delayed their shipment, and now they're due for the 26th. Fingers crossed.
