3’s haven’t been cracking in years, they clearly fixed that issue - My retro 88’s and FR3’s are still flawless and I have worn the **** out of them... IMO, it’s a non issue anymore.

2016 TB3 on the left, Retro 88 on the right. Honestly I think the leather is similar in softness, quality is very similar - the TB3's are more tumbled and the EP cut is higher and more boxy, I do notice big time that the 2011 BC3 and 2016 TB3 are much more of a similar shape than the Retro...
