Im sure some of you guys have torn yours...

Did you work on it a lot before the surgery?

Was it really bad after the surgery? Did it take a lot to get just on your feet walking?

How long did it take you to get back playing were you felt good?

Thanks...

Yes, I highly recommend being in peak physical condition going into surgery.

I could walk more or less with crutches the day I left the hospital. I was walking without crutches within a week. This isn't recommended, stay off your feet as much as possible the first two weeks after surgery.

This is a difficult question. I was back on the practice field fully participating in football practice 7 months after surgery. However as far as quickness, speed, agility, etc. I wasn't the same for 18 months, almost two years. You'll never jump the same again.

Thanks...

It's a long and tedious path. Hopefully you'll come out of it a better person like I did. Best of luck.
