Let's not get it confused... these are NOT better than the 7s, but they're definitely up there.

Do you think these could have been better than the 7s if done better/differently?

I don't think these could be better than the 7s being as though the 7s inspired this c/w. Same way I don't think carmine 7s could be better than 6s. As for this pair, they're almost flawless in terms of execution. Only flaw is the grey on the midsole should be darker.

I think they were a limited release. I was visiting family back home in Chicago when they released and went to the Flight 23 store on release day. Just walked in on a Saturday and got the 5 wings, Flyknit Melo 20s and these. They also had the other two low color ways there but that's was my shoe budget for the day.

I miss the days when nobody wanted J's.
