They should atleast whiten the piping and slim the toe down. The Italian leather stuff I am not buying into. Hell if that is true, they gonna repeat history and add another 30 or 40 bucks to the retail price. Wasnt the 2 Nikes first 100 dollar shoe because of their leathers from Italy?

In that aspect alone, these need to return in OG form for this release dammit Nike!!!

Never trust words about how "close to the OGs" an upcoming release is going to be, most people don't even have an eye for detail to be gauge that.

I'm decently satisfied with the mold on all of the IIs that have been floating around/are set to release soon though so I'll absolutely be in for a pair of these. Let me get a Chrome II retro in this mold too.

Now that I think about it, screw Nike/JB for waiting this damn long. If released 10 years ago, they sit for at least a week because as far as I can remember the II's were always slept on for the most part. Now it's going to be an instant sell out with people who could care less about the shoe copping 5x pairs. I remember always looking at the Jordan retro cards hoping for an og retro, these are truly a must cop for me.

I thank the OFF Whites. Seriously I do. To me if those didnt have the reaction they did, we may not have gotten these. While not being a collab fan, if it meant bringing the Chicago and or White red 2s back, Im thankful. I do like seeing appreciation for them finally.

I was just gonna say that…you couldn’t give 2s away a few years ago now everybody need 2 pairs.

To be fair, apart from the 1994 retro, the other 2x they retro’d these it had that corny red/ black lining on the side. These are the 1st time in almost 30 years they’re doing them right.
