Just because I, or any one else, like(s) Jay and you don't doesn't necessarily mean I'm (they're) not knowledgeable though.Clearly, I have some intelligenceOriginally Posted by M16

You can go back to discussing how great the Blueprint is now..
I appreciate it. I just have a few rhetorical questions before you jet: Why choose to be amongst people with obviously different tastes than you if you could just as easily be amongst those with similar tastes? Why choose to be amongst a majority that hold your views in the minority?
I'm on NT anyway, plus a few knowledgeable cats here make posting worth it.

I see nobody will answer the question though.
How is he the best of all time when he did not even top his peers?

Time to catch up...
EDIT: Actually, nevermind. I can't even finish it.![]()
Why do y'all +%++++ continue to argue with this nimwit MidEastBeast? He baits y'all into arguing with him every single time. You dudes give him the attention he craves. This nincompoop is ashamed of himself...he denied his own picture when it was revealed. How y'all continually give in to the biggest dumb !## in this section is beyond me...
Same thing every time...he comes into a thread early, says something moronic, starts quoting people and the thread gets derailed.
Son is the THB of the Music section. Sorry for the big words but I hope people see what I'm sayin'.![]()
Just act as if dude doesn't exist...
I see nobody will answer the question though.
Because the question is for lack of a better word, DUMB. Top his peers in what sense? He was the King of NY. I feel he is overrated but to say he wasn't on top at one point is wrong.
Top his peers in the sense of MUSIC. MUSIC.......
I don't give a I SH if he was the "king of NY". That has little to do with his actual output.
RTD is a great album, but it's not the best music of its time. Period............ Tell me either of his records are the albums of their time. Go ahead.
